In 2022, the Sinclair Group completed our work for Project Polar, the first-ever ground-up construction for Tampa-based Coke Florida, founded in 2015. This 22,000-square-foot sales and distribution center was designed to employ 140 people and serve more than 3,500 client businesses in the area. The scope of our work on this project included a complete 4.93-acre site package, with both heavy and light-duty paving. The entry houses a security system with an automated card reader and a motorized gate. Thomas Benford, Coke Florida’s president and CEO, commented: “This is a significant step for Coke Florida - not only is this the first ground-up facility we have constructed, but it also represents a brick-and-mortar return to the St Petersburg community”.
