Historic Building Restoration Project
Built in 1910 and becoming “The Great Five Cent Store” in 1928, the Woolworth Building was a staple of downtown Clearwater for nearly 50 years. The Sinclair Group completed the restoration of the historic building in 2025, returning Woolworth to its original function. The building stands 2 stories tall, totals 15,281 SF, and features a French steel exterior storefront system. Restoration efforts on this project included bringing back the original brick facade, which had been painted over and covered with stucco in previous years. The lobby was reimagined as a retail space, featuring a historical display with authentic replicas of products sold in the original store.
