Built in 1916, the Woolworth building was originally a “five-and-ten-cent store”, and was remodeled in 1940, accounting for its Art Deco design. The Sinclair Group has been entrusted with the historic building's restoration, returning Woolworth to it to its former cultural magnificence. The building is 2-stories, totaling 15,281 SF, and will have a French steel exterior storefront system. Our team's work on this project includes bringing back the original brick facade, which had been painted over and covered with stucco in previous years. The lobby is also being reimagined as a retail space, hosting a historical display dedicated to the rich history of Woolworth and featuring authentic replicas of products sold within the original store.
